The problem with being one of the key players in a relatively new industry is that there are a lot of growing pains when we first enter a market. Over the past decade, one of the reasons we have been able to grow so fast is by not producing any of our own sales. Our customers have historically been through word of mouth or from outside sales organizations. Whenever we started to receive enough business in a market, we would try out a multitude of subcontractors. It tends to take anywhere from 1-2 years of growing pains before we figure out the best local subcontractor for our customers and then we buy them out. This lays the foundation for our direct operations within the market. In the Carolinas, not only have we been completely in house for the past several years now, but ever since January, we started to build out our own internal sales team so we are able to have considerable more oversight. 98% of the issues online are due to one of a few things - either lack of communication by our subcontractors, non-Titan sales reps setting incorrect expectations, or reps no longer responding to their customers. Fortunately, its highly unlikely you’ll experience any of these issues. Not only are we completely in house now so there is significant more oversight, but we are one of the only large brand name solar companies that’ll be around for years to come.
